From Botun, a village near Ohrid, to Dimoski Distillery today, our story is one of family, craftsmanship and an enduring respect for the art of spirit making — a tradition carried forward from generation to generation.
The Dimoski family story begins in 1965 in Botun, a village near Ohrid, where our great-grandfather Sofe Dimoski began distilling rakija using traditional methods. What started as a family craft was shaped by patience, experience and respect for authentic spirit making.
The tradition was carried forward by Vlado Dimoski. After moving to Ohrid, he gave the family business a new direction and in 1989 founded Advisory export–import, specializing in the trade and distribution of premium, prestigious and rare alcoholic beverages.
Years of experience in the international spirits business created a strong foundation for the next step: developing and producing our own spirits. Vlado Dimoski, together with his sons Dimitar Dimoski and Zoran Dimoski, began the Dimoski Distillery chapter, transforming the family's long-standing knowledge, commercial experience and distilling tradition into their own production.
In 2011, this family vision entered a new stage through cooperation between TSILIGARIDIS S.A. and Advisory export–import, strengthening the production foundations of Dimoski Distillery.
In 2015, Vlado Dimoski passed away, leaving behind a strong family legacy built on entrepreneurship, knowledge and a lifelong connection with fine spirits. His sons, Dimitar Dimoski and Zoran Dimoski, continued the family business and the development of Dimoski Distillery, carrying his vision forward to the present day.

Vlado Dimoski carried the family tradition from its roots in Botun into a new era in Ohrid. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of the spirits business, he founded Advisory export–import in 1989.
Through years of working with premium, prestigious and rare alcoholic beverages, he gained valuable knowledge of international markets, quality standards and consumer tastes. That experience became the foundation for the family's next step: their own production.
Together with his sons, Dimitar Dimoski and Zoran Dimoski, Vlado began the Dimoski Distillery chapter, transforming generations of family knowledge and experience into a modern family distillery.
Vlado Dimoski passed away in 2015. His work, values and vision remain an essential part of Dimoski Distillery, carried forward by his sons to the present day.
Distillation is more than production. It is a craft shaped by time, experience and attention to detail — values carried through our family tradition and into the distillery today.
From carefully selected raw materials and controlled distillation to maturation in oak, every stage contributes to the depth, balance and character of our spirits.
Today, Dimoski Distillery is led by brothers Dimitar Dimoski and Zoran Dimoski, continuing the work and values established by the generations before them.
Dimoski Distillery was developed as a family venture by Vlado Dimoski together with his sons Dimitar and Zoran, building on the tradition that began with Sofe Dimoski in 1965. Following Vlado's passing in 2015, his sons continued the family business and the distillery, carrying his work and values forward to the present day.
Their goal is not simply to preserve the past, but to give the family tradition a future — combining authentic Macedonian spirit-making traditions with modern production, international experience and contemporary brand development.
From Botun to Ohrid, and from Ohrid to international markets, Dimitar and Zoran Dimoski continue the family story while remaining faithful to the values on which it was built.
Rooted in Ohrid and inspired by Macedonian tradition, Dimoski Distillery brings the character of its spirits to international markets while preserving the identity and craftsmanship behind every product.
